1. Campus Food
Fortunately, college students took it upon themselves to create apps and websites that help other hungry college students find free food on college campuses. These include Free Food Finder and Lunchbox, which allow students to search for free food on their campus and find out which events on campus offer free food as well. However, if you’re hosting an event, you can add it to these apps and invite hungry students to come.
2. Microsoft Office
To get free Microsoft Office, all you need is a valid school email at signup. This offers you the free Office 365 package for education-based purposes. However, you can also get access to free software from AutoDesk, which offers students free software programs, and a free six-month subscription to LastPass so you never lose your important school passwords and other sensitive information.
3. Checking Accounts
Oftentimes, banks that are located in popular college towns will offer free checking accounts to students at local universities. They will waive any account fees that people would normally be required to pay. Always be on the lookout for banks offering this kind of promotion. You can also call local banks and credit unions to see what kind of promotion they have to offer to students. Just make sure you look over all the terms of the agreement before signing and opening a new checking account.

Sometimes, companies will post up around campus and offer free samples and coupons to anyone who walks by. When you are wandering the quad, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for these companies. Companies also sometimes hire brand ambassadors. These are college students who are paid to try out new products and services and tell other students about them.

With a current student email address that ends in .edu or other proof of enrollment, you can get a free Amazon Prime membership. A lot of museums around the country offer free or cheap admission to students with IDs. Typically, they will offer this promotion on specific days of the week. This is a great way to learn something new and explore the area off campus. Be sure to look online to see if local museums offer student pricing or check with your college as they may be able to provide a list.

Sometimes, fast food restaurants offer free soft drinks to college students. For example, Chick-fil-A and Qdoba often take part in this kind of promotion. Some local restaurants may offer free sodas, too. However, you will need to call your local restaurants to see if they offer free drinks to students.

When you are enrolled in college, you are entitled to use any college facility for free. This includes the gym or recreation center. Take advantage of any and all the fitness programs your school offers, including regular gym equipment and any classes they offer. This is a great way to save a bit of money as a student.

The majority of universities have some kind of program to help their students complete their taxes correctly. These programs employ business students so they can get practice preparing taxes. All returns are checked by a professor so you can be sure that they are completed correctly. Reach out to your university’s business school to see if they offer this kind of program.
