Class Action Lawsuits And Who Might Be Eligible For Them

If a group of individuals who have chosen to have one person in that group represent them decide to bring a suit against a defendant or organization for a common reason, then this constitutes a class action lawsuit. Because of the multitude of things that can go wrong in a large business or company, these have become fairly common and widespread. If there's a chance that you might be owned some money, then this might mean good news for you.

It's imperative that you take action immediately if you are going to file for a class action lawsuit. There is a deadline on all of the following lawsuits in which a claim has to be filed. You can miss out on a possible payment if you do not meed the deadline on filing a claim. It's important to remember though, that just because you used a service or product from the company at a previous time, it doesn't necessarily entitle you to receive money from a lawsuit. You have to meet specific criteria in order to file a claim. The lawsuits in the following lists give explanations on what's involved and the amounts that could be awarded.

The following are some lawsuits against well known companies that have been filed recently..

SAME-SEX SPOUSE AT WALMART AND SAM'S CLUB

During the time between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2013, if you and your same sex spouse were employed by Walmart or Sam's club, there's a possibility that you could be eligible for some money.

Accusations were made against Walmart and Sam's Club that they did not award health care benefits to their employees who were same-sex couples, which was considered discrimination. On January 1, 2014, the company revised their policy on this issue. Individuals who file a claim in this lawsuit could probably receive up to $5000 a year over a three year period.

If you think that you might fulfill the requirements for this suit, you should immediately check into it and file a claim.

This lawsuit was filed when these companies who are the makers of packaged ice received accusations that they were fixing prices illegally, resulting in inflation. FIRST FAMILY INSURANCE TCPA

If First Family Insurance TCPA called you on any date going back to October 24, 2010, as annoying as it probably was, this could be pretty lucky for you.
